How can I pay for my airline tickets?

We offer a convenient pay onboard option on many ships. If your ship does not have this service, you have several options:

Western Union Quick Collect is available from the US, Canada, and US Virgin Islands. If Quick Collect is not available from your location, please check with us prior to sending payment.

CREDIT CARD We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card. Please scan or copy the front and back of your card and handwrite both the card number and expiration date along with the current billing address for the account. Sign your name and state the amount you are authorizing us to charge. Fax this information to us at 305-715-9632

For security reasons, the name of the person traveling must match the name on the card

Are your special fares available to everybody, or must you be a crewmember working onboard a ship?

Most of our fares are available to Seamen, Ship’s Crew, Superintendents, Cruise Line/Shipping Company employees on duty, or contracted employees of Cruise Lines/Shipping Companies provided they are traveling to or from a ship and will appear on the ship’s manifest.

Some fares are also available to non-marine travelers and spouses. Please inquire as to eligibility. We also have access to published fares for corporate and non-marine travelers.

What is the best way to request my travel?

The best method is to use our automated ticket request form. You can also send an email to EuropeUSA@Apolloships.com. If you don’t have access to a computer regularly, you may also call us toll free at 1-888-213-8230 from the US, Canada, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Outside these areas, you can reach us at 305-593-2109.

Is it better to buy my tickets one-way, or round-trip?

Due to the nature of crew travel, and the frequent changes that may occur with sign-on, sign-off dates, we recommend that you purchase your travel one-way. Our fares are all based on one-way travel, and unlike published fares there are no rules requiring you to travel round trip to get a better price. Approximately three weeks prior to your estimated return or sign-off date, simply contact us to arrange your return travel.

How much advance notice do I need to get a good price?

It is always best to book as far in advance as possible in order to secure the best price, although since our rates are based upon availability, it’s still possible to get a good rate for last minute travel.

Once I book, is my price guaranteed?

Although we can quote approximate fares, only by reserving a seat and issuing a ticket are we able to guarantee your price. Once your ticket is issued, your fare will not change.
